Reviews
Red
Robin #1
The events of Final Crisis and Battle for
the Cowl have left their scars and Tim is now a pretty
tormented character. I don't mind dark, but I really don't
appreciate the darkening of one of DCs few bright spots.
Batman
#687
Batman #687 did everything Batman and Robin
#1 didn't do in setting the stage for the new status quo.
This should actually have come out before B&R because
it obviously takes place first.

Batman
and Robin #1
I went into this one with great trepidation. For me,
it had everything going against it. Grant Morrison had two
major strikeouts with his Final Crisis and Batman:
RIP. I'll give him credit though; he ALMOST redeemed
RIP with the last issue revealing that Bruce was
in control of the situation the whole time.

10: Cosmic Storylines
The Fantastic Four going into space to beat up on the Super
Skrull and come back isn't cosmic; it's a typical story
in an outer space setting. COSMIC is big screen comics-
epic storylines with lots of action, different locales,
and the Galaxy if not the Universe in jeopardy.

10: Doctor Doom
Probably the second best bad guy ever created, the Man in
the Iron Mask, the Lord of Latveria, Reed Richard's old
college buddy- Victor Von Doom, DOCTOR to you.

10: Daredevil
This time around, the Man Without Fear: Daredevil. This
blind superhero has always been one of my favourite characters,
and his stories have always been among my favourite reads.
Top
10: Galactus Tales
I'm not sure what it is that I like about the character;
he's visually interesting thanks to great Jack Kirby design,
and despite being a planet eating monster, has a sense of
nobility.
Top
10: Darkseid Stories
Darkseid isn't a particularly interesting character. He's
one dimensional- always attempting to get his hands on the
Anti-Life Equation so he can conquer everything he sets
his eyes on.

10: My Favourite Thor Stories
Thor stories are usually spectacular and vast in scope-
these are among the most spectacular comics stories ever
done and among my all-time favourites.
Top
10: My Favourite Legion of Super-Heroes Stories
This time out I'm tackling my all-time favourite stories
of the Legion of Super-Heroes. The best stories are the
ones where the threat is so dire it takes the entire Legion
to handle.
My
Return to Comics part 1 -A Virgin's Dilemma
20 years. While no time seems to transpire in comic
land, many changes can occur in a comic fan in the same
time. This is my personal story of loss, love, self-discovery
and eventual redemption.

10: The Best Superhero Battles of All Time
This time around- the best super-hero fights
of all time. I got bogged down compiling this one, as there
were so many to choose from. The breakthrough came when
I determined what made a great fight.
